Science
I am excited to begin another year at RHS! I grew up in Jacksonville and Piedmont Alabama. In 2010 I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a B.S. in Chemistry. After starting a family and working as a chemist for a couple of years I decided to follow my heart and leave the lab behind for my first classroom. I taught in Alabama for two years while working on my master's degree. In 2015 I began teaching at RHS and obtained a M.S. in Education from JSU in 2016. I am currently working on my Ed.S in Teacher Leadership.Â
I would not be where I am today if it were not for positive role models in my life. I hope to be that light and encouragement to every student that crosses my path. I want every student to know that THEY hold the key to their future, that they can be and do anything they aspire to in life, and that there are no circumstances that can hold them back if they are willing to work to achieve their goals.
