General Music 3 (lesson plan)

🎼 Recorder Composition Directions 🎼

Compose a 3-measure piece using the 4/4 time signature.
Use only quarter notes and quarter rests.
All notes should be placed in the first space of the staff
Write the letter name of your choice (B, A, or G) clearly above each note.
At the end of your piece, draw a thin / thick bar line to show that the music is finished.
Work neatly – your music should be easy to read.
You may work with a partner (groups of 2 only).
In the upper left-hand corner of your board, write your initials so we know who the composers are!

Recorder Distribution Plan:

1. Fill Out Fingering Chart: Complete the chart with all the notes.
2. Receive Your Recorder: I'll hand you your recorder.
3. Label It: Write your first and last initials on a piece of tape and place it on the back of the recorder.
