Annotated Bibliography
Gedye wrote an article discussing methods of improving formative assessment and feedback between the student and the teacher. Here are as follows; First is ability to self-asses, being able to self-asses and reflect can enhance learning achievement. Second is Having clear goals, criteria, and expected standards, Written documents can be improved by including statements that help to define the goals, criteria and standards. Lastly is quality of feedback, Feedback should be given as soon as possible after submission; be relevant to the task and the pre-defined assessment criteria; and should help the student to understand how to improve the work (not just highlight strengths and weaknesses). Formative assessment is considered to be one of the most important mechanisms for improving student learning. Self and peer-assessment are particularly effective in formative learning as they require students to engage more fully with the assessment process.

Reflection
Communication between parents and teacher is an important key to ensure a proper feedback flow for the student's development. To start gave them first the best and notable behaviors you noticed to their children. Kept the discussion light with how good their children is on their areas of expertise then proceed to give them a constructive feedback on the areas that needed improvement but without downing their children in front of their parent. Always prioritize empathy when talking to parents as you don't want to leave a sour taste to their mouth about their students progress as much as possible. Always approach the constructive way to delivering things that needed to be improved to their children.
