HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT Desk
The Department of Geography, located in the South-West corner of the ground floor of the Auditorium Building, Block B, has three full time faculty members. It is one of the finest Departments of the College.
The Department is now running Honours & General degree in Geography under the West Bengal State University. It has nurtured many students who have attained various respectable positions in academics and other fields as well. At present the Department is well equipped with learning resources and facilities like Departmental Library, GIS Lab, Smart Class Room, and free WIFI Zone.

Students taking up Geography Honours & General are prepared to participate in field excursion; Attendance in field trip is compulsory as part fulfilment of B.A./B.Sc. Honours & General syllabus of West Bengal State University.
