The PLYMOUTH BANDS is the band program in the Plymouth Joint School District. Consisting of approximately 300 students in Grades 6-12, the Plymouth Bands are an organization that strives for excellence, pride, happiness, and togetherness in a creative and memorable setting.
The Riverview Middle School Bands consist of approximately 200 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade students at Riverview Middle School in Plymouth. Band is a popular offering at Riverview; one in every three students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 are enrolled in band. The Riverview Bands frequently perform throughout the city and state and have been invited to perform at numerous venues, including at Milwaukee Brewers games at American Family Field. The Riverview Bands are a part of the Riverview Middle School Music Department, a vibrant program which features numerous opportunities for students, including Jazz Band and an annual school musical production. Approximately 70% of the student body is enrolled in band and/or choir.
The Plymouth High School Bands consist of numerous performance opportunities for students. There are two concert bands - Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. Band students at PHS also have the opportunity to perform in many other co-curricular ensembles, including one of two Jazz Bands, Pep Band, Pit Band (for the annual PHS musical), and German Band. Band students at Plymouth High School have performed across the United States - most notably at Walt Disney World in Florida.
