What is "Ultra200x"?
The fabric used by LITEWAY, Challenge Outdoor’s Ultra200x, is a composite fabric made from the lightest and strongest fibers, UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene/Dyneema®) and high-strength polyester. It is the most powerful and durable fabric available in ultralight gear.
Compared to DCF, which also uses UHMWPE, Ultra200x contains nearly three times more UHMWPE, offering three times the strength and seven times the abrasion resistance.
Furthermore, the laminated RUV™ film provides 97% UV resistance and ensures waterproofing up to 200 psi. Ultra200x performs exceptionally in all harsh environments, from sub-zero temperatures to tropical climates.
Combining lightness and strength, Ultra200x is already becoming the standard for ultralight hikers, promising to make your hiking experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
