UNIT 4 - NON-FICTION BASED

The main focus of this unit is RI.6.8, which requires students to research a topic and present an argument on that topic. Therefore, this unit requires students to cite evidence (RI.6.1), summarize what they have read (RI.6.2), evaluate author's purpose (RI.6.6) and present their findings in the form of an argumentative debate (RI.6.8/W.6.3).
