Role of the Counselors

Need to talk about your classes? Concerned about your grades? Looking for idea on study skills? Need help with time management? Feel stressed and need someone to talk to on campus? As Counselors, we do all that and MORE! We focus on 3 domains:

1) Academics 2) College/career 3) Social-emotional

Remember, we are here for YOU.

Interested in meeting with your counselor?

Counselors are available if you need any support. You are able to drop in before school, at lunch or after school. If you get permission from your teacher, you may come down to the Counseling Office, as well. We're here for you!

Another way to communicate with your Counselor is through email.

If you prefer to schedule a meeting, please complete the Google Form listed below.

As School Counselors, we practice confidentiality. Confidentiality means that what you talk about with your School Counselor, stays with them. Keep in mind that there are exceptions where confidentiality may be breached:

  • You share that someone is hurting you

  • You share that you want to hurt someone

  • You share that you want to hurt yourself

With those exceptions, School Counselors would then involve others to have it addressed in an appropriate and safe manner.
