Ms. Yu, support counselor at AVHS, put together a presentation summarizing points UC College Admission Counselors covered during their Mental Health & College Application workshop at the UC Conference for Counselors. 

UC admission counselors acknowledged that they are aware of the rising number of students who experience mental health challenges during their high school career. They want applicants to understand that it is okay to bring up these challenges in an informative way and how to go about it. Everything on the college application provides context for the readers!
