Silver Anniversary Teams

Every year a team from the school year of 25 years ago is chosen and honored at the annual banquet as the Silver Anniversary Team. The Hall of Fame founders recognized the team concept should not be overlooked in the Hall plans, understanding that being a part of a team is one of the great benefits of high school athletics. 

2015 – Football: Papillion/LV      1990 Class A Champions

The undefeated Class A state champions (12-0)) coached by Gene Suhr, set Class A scoring records in the regular season and playoffs. Beat Grand Island 42-21 for the state title.

2021- Papillion/LaVista Football- 1996-1997

Class A State Champions   13-0

With the added round of playoff games in 1996, they were the first Class A team to go 13-0 and it was the first year all State Championship games were played at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln
