Hi! My name is Mrs. Sabrina Packett! I am one of your second grade teachers at Ashbury Elementary. This is my 3rd year teaching second grade in the Papillion La-Vista Community Schools District. I substitute taught for 3 years all over Nebraska before starting at Ashbury.

I graduated from the Wayne state college in in 2021 With my elementary degree with endorsements in Reading/writing and English as a second language. I received my Master’s Degree from University of Nebraska Omaha in Equity and Social Justice in Education.

My Husband (Austin) and I have two cats, Touka and Yuki. I'm a big coffee enthusiast as well as love being outside. You can often find me camping, hiking, running, playing volleyball, or rock climbing! I also love to travel! I have so far been to 11 countries!

As a second-grade teacher, my philosophy centers on fostering an equitable, inclusive, and engaging classroom where every student feels they belong and can thrive. I prioritize equity and equality by tailoring instruction to meet each child's unique needs, ensuring all students have access to the resources and opportunities necessary for success. By integrating diverse cultures into our learning, I create a rich, inclusive environment that respects and celebrates differences, helping students develop a broader understanding of the world. My goal is to build a positive, dynamic classroom where every student is engaged, valued, and inspired to learn.

Our classroom theme is “A Rainbow of Possibilities.” I am so excited for your child to know that in our classroom they will have so many opportunities to learn and grow! I hope that they see all the possibilities to be kind and grow in second grade!
