Classroom Norms

Assignment Policy:

All students are expected to complete assignments on-time. Late or missing assignments will be entered in to grade book as a ZERO until assignments are turned in.

Absence Policy:

All students will receive one day for each absence plus one. For example, if a student is absent two days, he or she will have three days to locate the missing assignments and complete them.

Make-up work can be in the students EnVisions site (math 6) or in their textbook (pre-algebra). The student is responsible for locating the assignments they have missed and notifying me upon completion.

If a student does not understand the math concept taught when he or she was absent, the student is more than welcome to come to tutorials. Extra resources are available on the EnVisions website.

Test and Quiz Retake Policy:

All tests and quizzes can be retaken two weeks after original assessment is passed back. Students must complete a test retake form, located in the classroom, and turn it in to me for approval. The retake test will cover the same material but it will be a different test. The students score on the retake test will replace their old score, even if the score is lowered.
