All policies require a signed application

The carrier offers e-signature.

Cancelled policies: A signed app is still required. If identified during the agency audit, the agency won't receive credit for the missing information. In many cases, this could result in a failed audit. 

Required Steps if you cannot get the application: It would be best to notify our Underwriting Department to determine if we can get off the risk at the next renewal. It will be important that each attempt is documented. 

What repercussions might the agency face during an audit if a signed application is missing? We will schedule another audit in 90-180 days on newly written policies to determine compliance
