The second annual meeting of the "The Silene vortex", a scientific workshop that brings together the international community of researchers working on evolutionary biology with the Silene genus as a model will take place virtually between 17-19 May 2022. The present meeting will allow presentation of the most recent advances in evolutionary research on Silene, allow inspiration from other model systems, and will favour the exchange of knowledge, the development of new research ideas, the sharing of resources and the creation of new collaborative synergies, and reinforce the existing scientific collaborations on Silene.
