Practical : Separate mixtures

10x

  • 1 x Mixture of sand, salt, water, iron filings
  • 1 x Funnel
  • 1 x Filter paper
  • 1 x Magnet
  • 1 x Conical Flask
  • 1 x Beaker
  • 1 x Evaporating dish & Holder


Students sperate the mixture, filter sand and filings. Use magnet for filings. Boil off water if there is time to evapourate the salt.
