Welcome to Our Summer Reading Adventure
With an engaging “around-the-world” theme, this Plainedge district-wide reading program was designed in a collaborative effort by our district school librarians and offers a diverse range of reading activities tailored to different age groups, from grades K through 12. Plainedge Elementary Schools

Students in grades (entering) Kindergarten to 5th: Embark on an extraordinary adventure with a coloring sheet of fun reading activities just for you. See the Parent Information below for more details. Prizes and Plainedge Reader Leader recognition await! Plainedge Middle School
This summer it’s your turn to travel the world through reading. For each activity completed or book read, earn a ticket to enter to win the grand prize: a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card! Additionally, for every activity completed or book read, enjoy an ice cream treat. Complete 2 activities to earn both ice cream and a pizza party. And for those who complete 3 or more activities, earn 50 PBIS points!

Plainedge High School
These more teenage-oriented activities are tailor-made for our older Plainedge students, grades (entering) 9th through 12th! These ideas are designed to slide right into your summer plans with ease: Taking selfies, reading up on favorite musicians, even making a social media post!
