Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Tennis team's amazing 4-3 victory against O'Neil yesterday. The girls all played their very best in their hard fought come from behind victory. The girls are now in first place in their division!
HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH: Spain (Espana) With its motto “Further Beyond”, Spain takes the title for discovering the New World after sending off Italian Columbus in search of riches. Spain was the world’s first global empire. Many Spanish people are soccer fans. The top soccer clubs are: Real Madrid and Barça (FC Barcelona). Spain is known for its flamenco dance. Spain is also known for many festivals, such as the 'Tomatina' where people throw tomatoes at one another, and the 'Running of the Bulls in Pamplona', where matadors wave the red cape to the bulls. Spain is the world's top olive oil producer and it is believed to have the most olive trees in the entire world.

Underclass Photo Day will be held Thursday, October 6th. Grades 9, 10, & 11 have been scheduled with their English teachers. No purchase is required. However, all students are to sit for a photo for their individual student ID cards & the yearbook. Staff is also invited to sit for a photo for the yearbook.
Tuesday, October 4th, there will be Raider Readiness at the beginning of each lunch period in the auditorium.
Youth in Government students who wish to go on the October trip MUST return their permission forms to Mrs.Perkowski in the library by Friday the 7th. If you have questions or need a permission form, check the Google Classroom or see Mrs. Perkowski.
There will be a brief informational meeting regarding this year's Spring Musical production on Tuesday, October 11th, at 2:30 in Mrs. Gordon's room, 125. We will be going over auditions, rehearsal schedules, performances and announcing this year's show! If you are interested in joining the DRAMA CLUB Classroom for 22-23, please click the link below. Any student who will be driving to school needs to come to the AP's office and pick up an application for a parking permit. If you have previously received one you do not need to apply for a new one. Please make sure to display your permit in the bottom of your back window on the driver side. Stop by the Assistant Principal's office and see Mrs. Sauschuck for an application.
