Today is a “B” Day

TODAY: 

• Come one, come all to the First DECA Membership Meeting in Room;   Tuesday, September 24th, 2:30 - 3:15, room # 141.   New and returning members are welcome!!! 

• Gaming Club Gaming Club will meet every other Tuesday starting Sept 24th, 230-330pm, in Rm 104. Members should check the Google Classroom daily for updates.

SPORTS: 

Highlights:

• 4:15 Varsity Cross Country @ Camp Reimagined - bus leaves 2:30

• 4:30 JV Boys Soccer @ Beacon High - bus leaves 2:30

• The Boys Varsity Soccer Team defeated Ellenville yesterday 4 to 3. In his first game this season Santiago Larzabal had a hat trick (3 goals) in the first 6 minutes of the game! Jesus Trujillo Santiago added the game-winner. Ayden Prespare, Aidan Otto, Jake Gaeta, and Connor White each had an assist. Jose Trujillo Santiago made a number of key saves to preserve the win. Great Job Boys! Come out and support the team next Monday against Liberty.

• SENIORS! Please check your email and the Senior Activities Google Classroom updates regarding Homecoming Court. 

• Homecoming Social will be held on Saturday, October 5th in the HS Gym from 7:00 - 10:00 PM. $5 per person. More information to come

• Art Club will meet this Thursday, Sept 26 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM.  PLease note the time.   New members are welcome.  See Ms. Maloney in 116. 

• The next meeting of the Port Jervis Youth Coalition (PJYC) is Wednesday, 10/2 at 2:25pm in room 103.  If you're interested in helping reduce substance use and promoting wellness at PJHS, this is the club for you!!  New members welcome.

• All college bound sophomores and juniors should register for the PSAT exam on October 9th. This test is no cost for sophomores and juniors.  Please complete the registration form on the guidance Google Classroom by October 2nd.  No registrations will be taken after October 2nd

• Attention Seniors - information regarding the fall trip to Six Flags Fright Fest was handed out last week - if you missed it, please go see Mrs. Mark in room 208 or check the Senior social media feeds or the Senior activities Google Classroom. Permission forms and payment for that trip is due next Friday!

• Attention Juniors: We will be preparing to create decorations for Spirit Week. If you could spare 5 minutes before a practice or activity, please come to room 131 to help create some theme decorations.

• ATTENTION SOPHOMORES: Come to ROOM 212 any day or every day after school to help create decorations for SPIRIT WEEK. Our theme is Sophomore Survivor.

• ATTENTION FRESHMAN: Come to the OLD NURSE”S OFFICE  today and every day after school to help create decorations for SPIRIT WEEK. Our theme is Freaky Freshman!

• DECA School store is now OPEN! Hours: M - F 2:00 - 2:45 PM

• Come join the Science Olympiad team!  We meet in 210 on Wednesdays.   25 events.  Claim your event or events now!  Bring your crew.   See Mr. Koenig for more information.
