JV Volleyball kept it rolling last night, claiming all three sets from Tuxedo 25-11, 25-17, and 25-19
After dropping the first set the Varsity volleyball team won 17-25, 25-13, 25-20, 25-20 over Tuxedo. Lexi Tufano had 23 assists, Addison McElroy 13 kills and Madison Balmas had 18 digs. The girls' record improves to 5-1. Join us home on Wednesday as the team takes on Liberty.
HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH: Republic of Bolivia! Bolivia is named after Venezuelan leader Simón Bolívar who led the Wars of Independence across South America. He liberated five countries from Spanish rule, his home country of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. There are 37 languages spoken in Bolivia. It has two capital cities; La Paz and Sucre. La Paz is the highest city in the world. If you visit there, chances are you will get altitude sickness.
Any Junior or Senior interested in joining Youth in Government for this year please see or email Mrs. Perkowski or Mrs. Piscitelli. This year's events will be live in person at Minisink and Marlboro. Our first meeting will be a quick overview of the club and its activities today right afterschool in the library.
The first meeting of the Port Jervis Youth Coalition (PJYC) will be Monday, September 26th at 2:15pm (location will be announced). Join us to help reduce substance use and promote mental health/wellness and kindness throughout the school! New members are welcome!! Want more information? Any student who will be driving to school needs to come to the AP's office and pick up an application for a parking permit. If you have previously received one you do not need to apply for a new one. Please make sure to display your permit in the bottom of your back window on the driver side. Stop by the Assistant Principal's office and see Mrs. Sauschuck for an application.
