Today is a “A” Day

• Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer team on their Division win over Liberty beating them 2-0. Goals were scored by Marlee Prespare and Mia Leeper. Mia Leeper also had an assist. Peyton Brown had 7 saves in goal.   This win qualified the team for Sections. Make sure to come out and support the team next week as they take on Chester home on Tuesday and Senior Night on Wednesday against Middletown. 

• The PSAT exam is TODAY, October 9th at 8 AM in the gym and will last approximately 3 hours.

• Boys Intramural basketball is taking place every Sunday from 5:30pm to 8:00pm (Games start at 6:00pm) at East Main Elementary School's new gym. Enter the school through the gym door on the left side of the building. Every Sunday through November 17th, and you must be there by 6:00pm to play!  No varsity football players

• ATTENTION SENIORS: Due to several scheduling conflicts, Senior Information Night will be rescheduled to the same night as Financial Aid Night,  Thursday, October 24th.   The Senior Information Portion of this evening will run from 5:30PM-6:15PM in the HS auditorium and the Financial Aid Information will be presented immediately following from 6:15-7:00PM.  We do not want anyone to miss out on these important events during this important time.

• Students    Against     Destructive    Decisions      Join the SADD club! You will help convince students not to make destructive decisions. We will host popcorn sales, run the Powder Puff Football Game and throw the Seniors an unforgettable Grad Party!  First meeting: Oct 9th from 2:25- 3:00 in room 112.  New members are welcome! New Officers are needed! See Ms. Dorritie or Mrs. Lane if you are interested. 

• Picture day for Grades 9-11 is tomorrow October 10th. If you didn’t receive a photo packet, please see your English teacher or the main office..

Please bring your classes to THE RUBBER GYM at the times given below. Everyone is to be photographed for ID cards & yearbook, even if no package is being ordered (except for seniors). No purchase is required. Teachers are also encouraged to sit for a photo for the yearbook. No purchase expected or required.

CLUBS & MEETINGS: 

• Attention Youth in Government members! Our first event in Minisink will be held on Friday, October 18th. Please check the YIG Google Classroom for information and the permission slip. If you need a paper copy of the form, please see Mrs. Piscitelli OR pick one up in the main office vestibule.  Questions? See or email an advisor. Permission slips will be due no later than 2pm on Tuesday, October 15th.
