Today is a “B” Day

TODAY:   Tues (10/8)

• Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer team on their 4-2 win over Sullivan West. Mia Leeper and Yailyn Gonzalez both had 2 goals each for the Lady Raiders. Abbey Montalvo, Yailyn Gonzalez and Jailyn Fournier each had an assist. Peyton Brown had 10 saves in goal. Come out tonight to watch the Varsity Girls take on Liberty at 6 PM on Chase Field!

• The PSAT exam is scheduled for tomorrow, October 9th at 8 AM in the gym and will last approximately 3 hours.

• Picture day for Grades 9-11 is on October 10th. If you didn’t receive a photo packet, please see your English teacher.

• The Hudson Valley Honor Flight is on October 19th permission slips available in the main office and AD’s office. Arrive at school at 6:45, approximate return 10:30. Permission slip due by Wednesday, October 16th.

• Students    Against     Destructive    Decisions      Join the SADD club! You will help convince students not to make destructive decisions. We will host popcorn sales, run the Powder Puff Football Game and throw the Seniors an unforgettable Grad Party!  First meeting: Oct 9th from 2:25- 3:00 in room 112.  New members are welcome! Please bring your classes to THE RUBBER GYM at the times given below. Everyone is to be photographed for ID cards & yearbook, even if no package is being ordered (except for seniors). No purchase is required. Teachers are also encouraged to sit for a photo for the yearbook. No purchase expected or required

CLUBS & MEETINGS: 

• Attention Youth in Government members! Our first event in Minisink will be held on Friday, October 18th. Please check the YIG Google Classroom for information and the permission slip. If you need a paper copy of the form, please see Mrs. Piscitelli OR pick one up in the main office vestibule.  Questions? See or email an advisor. Permission slips will be due no later than 2pm on Tuesday, October 15th.

• Student Drivers:  Please see Mrs. Sauschuck in the AP’s Office to pick up a parking permit application. You do not need to apply for a new one if you have previously received one.
