• Attention College Science Students:  There will be an Adirondack Science Trip meeting tomorrow, Thursday, 10/31 right after school in room 200S (Mrs. Stankunas room). Any College Science students interested please attend for more information.

• Seniors! The Halloween parade is ON! Tomorrow, October 31st, period 10. ONLY SENIOR may dress up & participate in the parade. For more information, please check your email, the Senior Activity Google Classroom, REMIND, or the Class social media pages. PM CTech Seniors, please get your Z day passes in early if you plan to participate.

• ONE DAY ONLY - Krispy Kreme sale TODAY after school at the JV Football Game on historic Glennette Field! Original Glazed donuts - $12/Box - LIMITED SUPPLY! Support the Sophomore Class and the JV Football team at their last home game. Let Mrs. Corcoran or Mrs. Zappier know if you need us to save you a box!

• SENIORS:  The annual Senior Class fruit sale is open! Get an order form from your English teacher or during CTech attendance.  People can also order online and give you the credit. The sale ends November 17th and delivery to the high school for pickup is the week of 12/7.  https://freshfruitorder.org/PJHS2025  If you have any questions, please speak with a class advisor.

• SENIOR PORTRAITS:  Senior portrait retakes will be on NOVEMBER 6th.  If you need a retake OR still need your photo taken, this is the last chance to be included in the 2025 Senior section of the Yearbook. There is no cost for the initial sitting, however, if you have already had a photo sitting and wish to have your pictures retaken, there is a retake fee of $10.  To schedule go to: https://myschedule.lorsstudio.com/accounts/login/  Use your last name as the username and your student ID # (found in PowerSchool or on your progress report) as the password, to schedule a time.

• There will be a GSA meeting this TODAY,, Wednesday, October 30th after school at 2:25  in the HS guidance office. All are welcome!

• ATTENTION JUNIORS:  Your soup mix order forms and payments are due to Miss Gibson in room 131 on Friday November 1st. No exceptions!

• Auditions for this year's musical, Annie will be on Friday, November 1st from 2:15-4:30 in room 125.  Please join the Drama Club Classroom or see Mrs. Gordon for more information.

• ATTENTION SENIORS: Senior Baby Pictures, Sibling, & Friends Then and Now are all Due November 8th...Please label all photos with your name so I can return them to you. Hand them in at the front office or to Mrs. Van Horn in room 104.

• Beginning Monday morning 11/4, the cafeteria will close at 7:28 am sharp. Breakfast will be served up until 7:28. Get your food first, then visit with your friends.

• The PJYC---Port Jervis Youth Coalition--- is a group of PJHS students with the mission to guide our peers to wellness and encourage respect in order to reduce the use of substances by educating each other to improve the environment of our school community. Join us for our next meeting, Wednesday, November 6th at 2:25pm in room 103.

• There will be a trip to Broadway to see the musical The Outsiders this spring, all students are invited!

  • Time: We will depart from the HS at 8:00 AM and return at approximately 6:00 PM

  • Cost: $120.00 Cash, Check or Money Order made out to GSA due by December 1st includes ticket and transportation via Leprechaun buses (these buses have AC and usb charging ports).  If it is easier, you can pay for your ticket in two $60 payments or three $40 payments.

  • Permission forms are in the guidance office, any questions ask Ms. Oldham in Guidance!

• Are you interested in joining the Girls Lacrosse team this coming Spring? Please fill out the google form found on the announcements. Girl's Lacrosse

• Ski and Snowboard Club information sheets are now available in the main office. Any questions or if you are a potential new member, please contact Mr. Kowal (pkowal@pjschools.org) at the middle school.  

• ATTENTION SENIORS: Senior packets will be handed out in your English Classes. Please pay attention to the due dates for the parent ads, siblings, friends then & now, and baby pictures. Any questions see Mrs. Van Horn in room 104. 

• Port Jervis Mock Trial meets every Monday in room 261 (formerly 311). Mock Trial is a competition in which students argue a legal case against other schools before a New York state judge. It is the perfect activity for anyone interested in the law, debate, or public speaking. New members are always welcome. Please see Mr. Dunleavy or Nurse Weinick for more information.

• Student Drivers:  Please see Mrs. Sauschuck in the AP’s Office to pick up a parking permit application. You do not need to apply for a new one if you have previously received one.
