• Congratulations to the girls varsity tennis team for their impressive 5-2 come from behind victory against O'Neil yesterday. The girls played very well and Yara Shihada Port's #3 singles had a heart wrenching determined effort in her amazing come 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 from behind victory

• Port Jervis (5-6) prevailed 25-20, 20-25, 25-14, 25-15. Ava Saint Louis had 19 assists and six digs; Kamrynne Leicht had 13 kills and four digs; Payton Thompson had nine kills and five blocks; and, Kiki Theodore had 22 digs.

• Picture day for Grades 9-11 is on October 10th. Photo packets will be handed out in your English class today. 

• Computer Tech Club meets Thursdays after school in room 102.

• Attention Youth in Government members! Our first event in Minisink will be held on Friday, October 18th. Please check the YIG Google Classroom for information and the permission slip. If you need a paper copy of the form, please see Mrs. Piscitelli OR pick one up in the main office vestibule.  Questions? See or email an advisor. Permission slips will be due no later than 2pm on Tuesday, October 15th.

• All students who have registered for the PSAT exam:   There will be a PSAT digital readiness session on TODAY during 4th period.  Students should bring their fully charged district issued chromebook with them on Thursday to the meeting.  The registration deadline for the PSAT is Wednesday October 2nd at 2 PM.  No late registrations will be taken. The PSAT exam is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9th at 8 AM in the gym and will last approximately 3 hours.

• 10/3 Seniors: The last day to turn in your fall trip money and permission slips to an advisor is tomorrow! Also, don't forget to work the concession stand at tomorrow's game for shares. Baked goods donations only for this game. See an advisor for details.

• Pizza Thursdays is back !  Stop by the DECA school store from 2:00-2:45 for a delicious, fresh, hot slice of pizza!  $2.50 per slice while they last!

• The Hudson Valley Honor Flight is on October 19th permission slips available in the main office and AD’s office. Arrive at school at 6:45, approximate return 10:30. Permission slip due by Wednesday, October 16th.

• The 1st Varsity Club meeting will be held on Monday, October 7nd from 2:00-2:30 in room 201. All current and new members must attend. You must play a Varsity sport to join Varsity Club.

• Attention Seniors - information regarding the fall trip to Six Flags Fright Fest was handed out last week - if you missed it, please go see Mrs. Mark in room 208 or check the Senior social media feeds or the Senior activities Google Classroom.
