• ATTENTION SENIORS:

  • Soup Mix Fundraiser is due to Miss Gibson by 2 p.m. on Friday 10/24/2025 No exceptions!

  • The Castle Trip is Monday 10/27/2025 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. We are leaving Port Jervis High School at 4 p.m. and will arrive at The Castle around 4:45. We leave at 9 p.m. and return to the high school around 9:45-10 p.m. 

  • Since you are involved in activities all night long, all you should bring is a cell phone, personal ID, or any medication if you need to take it within those four hours.

  • All food and drinks will be provided for you. NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS PERMITTED! 

  • The Castle is not responsible for anything that is lost. 

  • Dress appropriately for outdoor or indoor activities. 

  • We can't wait for everyone to have a fun-filled night!

• If you would like to participate in the Halloween Parade on 10/31/2025, please sign up in room 131 by 10/28/2025

• AM C-Tech students will need to get a Z-day pass to participate. 

• PM C-Tech must go to BOCES that day

• Breakfast will be provided for all Seniors 3rd period in the cafeteria before the parade starts. 

• Parade will start 4th period and teachers will vote on the best costume.

• You must go to your 5th period class after the pictures.

• Please sign up for the fall trip in Miss Gibson's room 131 by September 19th. The trip will be Monday, October 27, 2025, from 5-9 pm at The Castle in Chester. It will cost approximately $65, depending on how many buses we need. The cost includes transportation to and from the event, a BBQ , mini-golf, go karts, zipline, laser tag, roller skating, rockwall, arcade (no prizes but unlimited play), and bowling. Permission slips due Friday, October 10th.

• ATTENTION SENIORS: Field trip and campus tour of SUNY Orange in Middletown, NY on Tuesday, October 21st!

  • We’ll depart from the high school at 9:00 AM and return around 1:30 PM.  If you’re planning to attend SUNY Orange in the fall—or just want to explore this beautiful campus—you’re encouraged to sign up. The trip is free for all seniors!  Permission forms are available in the Guidance Office.

ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Family ID for Winter JV/Varsity Sports is open thru 11/16/25.  Dr. Little will be here for those needing physicals on Thursday, November 13th from 7:30-8:30AM in the Nurses' Office.

• The PJHS Drama Club is proud to announce that the musical for this Spring is "Shrek"! If you are interested, please join the Club's Google Classroom using code 3wipo5v3 to be sure to get all the information regarding the production.

• Grades 9-12 Boys Intramural basketball will begin this Sunday October 5th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at the East Main Street Elementary School gym and will continue every Sunday until November 16th. You can show up anytime from 5:30 to 6:00 and games go from 6:00 to 8. Port high school students only. Enter through the playground side of the gym

• VEX Robotics will meet Mondays and Tuesdays in room 101 at 2:25 till 3:35. New members are welcome, see Mr. Hyziak with any questions.
