Today is a “B” Day

Today is National Custodian Appreciation Day.

• Senior Class of 2025! The Krispy Kreme Orders will be here Wednesday, October 2nd (TODAY). Your help is needed for delivery and distribution at the Concession Stand next to Chase Field from 11:30 until 2:30. • The Hudson Valley Honor Flight is on October 19th permission slips available in the main office and AD’s office. Arrive at school at 6:45, approximate return 10:30. Permission slip due by Wednesday, October 16th.

• Pizza Thursdays is back !  Stop by the DECA school store on Thursday 2:00-2:45 for a delicious, fresh, hot slice of pizza!  $2.50 per slice while they last!

• The GSA will be having a meeting after school in guidance (2:25).  All are welcome!

• Port Jervis Youth Coalition (PJYC) is meeting at 2:25pm in room 103.  If you're interested in helping reduce substance use and promoting wellness at PJHS, this is the club for you!!  New members welcome.

• Today is the last day to complete the registration form on the guidance Google Classroom for the PSAT exam.  No registrations will be taken after today!!

• 10/2 Seniors: Krispy Kreme orders will be ready for pick up in the concession stand at 2pm today. Also, don't forget to turn in your fall trip money and permission slips to an advisor by Friday.

• Computer Tech Club meets Thursdays after school in room 102.

• All students who have registered for the PSAT exam:   There will be a PSAT digital readiness session on TODAY during 4th period.  Students should bring their fully charged district issued chromebook with them on Thursday to the meeting.  The registration deadline for the PSAT is Wednesday October 2nd at 2 PM.  No late registrations will be taken. The PSAT exam is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9th at 8 AM in the gym and will last approximately 3 hours.

• The 1st Varsity Club meeting will be held on Monday, October 7nd from 2:00-2:30 in room 201. All current and new members must attend. You must play a Varsity sport to join Varsity Club. 

• All college bound sophomores and juniors should register for the PSAT exam on October 9th. This test is no cost for sophomores and juniors.  Please complete the registration form on the guidance Google Classroom by October 2nd.  No registrations will be taken after October 2nd.

• Attention Seniors - information regarding the fall trip to Six Flags Fright Fest was handed out last week - if you missed it, please go see Mrs. Mark in room 208 or check the Senior social media feeds or the Senior activities Google Classroom. Permission forms and payment for that trip is due Oct 4!

• Join the SADD club! You will help convince students not to make destructive decisions. We will host popcorn sales, run the Powder Puff Football Game and throw the Seniors an unforgettable Grad Party!  First meeting: Oct 9th from 2:25- 3:00 in room 112.  New members are welcome! New Officers are needed! See Ms. Dorritie or Mrs. Lane if you are interested. 

• Attention Juniors: We will be preparing to create decorations for Spirit Week. If you could spare 5 minutes before a practice or activity, please come to room 131 to help create some theme decorations.

• ATTENTION SOPHOMORES: Come to ROOM 212 any day or every day after school to help create decorations for SPIRIT WEEK. Our theme is Sophomore Survivor.

• ATTENTION FRESHMAN: Come to the OLD NURSE”S OFFICE  today and every day after school to help create decorations for SPIRIT WEEK. Our theme is Freaky Freshman!
