• Congratulations to the following seniors from the Girls Varsity Tennis team.  Brielle Rene, Caroline Centauro, Amia Summons, Meghan Lauture, Oliva Trotta and Francesca Moliterno.  Each of these senior athletes has contributed in many different ways to make this a very successful team!

• Congratulations to the following athletes for participating in the OCIAA Tennis tournament. 

  • On Tuesday, October 15th three of our doubles teams qualified: Olivia Baumgardner & Jocelyn Curreri, Grace Cirulli & Kayleigh Wright, Brielle Rene & Caroline Centauro. These athletes all played very hard. Grace Cirulli and her partner Kayleigh Wright won in their first round matchup against Beacon.

  • On Wednesday, October 16th Michelle Gimena and Yara Shihada participated in the OCIAA singles tennis tournament. The girls played very well and Michelle won her first match against Monticello while Yara nearly won in a hard fought three set battle against Pine Bush.

• On Monday, October 21st the Varsity volleyball team will honor their seniors: Jules Elston, Ashlyn Overland, Kaleigh Polanis, Mikayla Sobolewski, and Kiki Theodore. Join us at 6:00 pm to help us celebrate them!

•  On Monday, October 21st at 2:30 pm in room 200 A(the old HS library) there will be an informational meeting for any student enrolled in a college science course interested in attending the Winter Ecology field trip in January to Lake Placid and the Adirondack Mountains. See Mrs. Stankunas if you have any questions.

• Are you interested in joining the Girls Lacrosse team this coming Spring. Please fill out the google form found on the announcements. Girl's Lacrosse

• Ski and Snowboard Club information sheets are now available in the main office. Any questions or if you are a potential new member, please contact Mr. Kowal (pkowal@pjschools.org) at the middle school.  

• Are you interested in becoming a lawyer? A judge? Joining law enforcement? Do you just like to argue? If so, Mock Trial might be for you. Port Jervis Mock Trial will be having its first meeting on Monday, October 21 at 2:25 in room 261 (formerly room 311). Please see Mr. Dunleavy or Nurse Weinick for more information.

• There will be a FRESHMAN CLASS MEETING Wednesday, Oct 23 in the cafe at 2:15. All are invited. Officer are to attend.

• ATTENTION SENIORS: Senior packets will be handed out in your English Classes. Please pay attention to the due dates for the parent ads, siblings, friends then & now, and baby pictures. Any question see Mrs. Van Horn in room 104. 

• A lunchtime popcorn sale sponsored by the SADD Club will be on Wednesday, October 23 in support of the county wide Red Ribbon Week. $1 per bag with all proceeds to benefit the Class of 2025 Senior Big Prize Giveaway Graduation Party.   SADD Contracts for Life will also be available for all students to take home, discuss with their family, and return to school. 

• Freshman Class meeting after school Wednesday, October 23rd in the HS cafeteria. Bring your fundraising ideas. Officers are expected and encouraged to attend.

• Due to several scheduling conflicts, Senior Information Night will be rescheduled to the same night as Financial Aid Night,  Thursday, October 24th.  The Senior Information Portion of this evening will run from 5:30PM-6:15PM in the HS auditorium and the Financial Aid Information will be presented immediately following from 6:15-7:00PM.

• Student Drivers:  Please see Mrs. Sauschuck in the AP’s Office to pick up a parking permit application. You do not need to apply for a new one if you have previously received one.
