Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer team on their 4-0 win over Chester yesterday for their last home game. June Witkowski scored twice along with Mia Leeper and Elizabeth DeGroat-Felter. Zoey DiLecce had an assist along with Mia Leeper having 2. Peyton Brown had 7 saves in goal.

The Halloween Parade is Friday 10/31/2025
AM C-Tech students will need to get a Z-day pass to participate.
PM C-Tech must go to BOCES that day
Breakfast will be provided for all Seniors 3rd period in the cafeteria before the parade starts.
Parade will start 4th period and teachers will vote on the best costume.
You must go to your 5th period class after the pictures.
REMINDER: The Hudson Valley Honor Flight is tomorrow at Stewart Airport in Newburgh. Please report to the HS between 6:30 and 6:40. The bus will leave at 6:45. The expected time back to the HS is approx 10:00, but it will depend on the flight schedule.
Any Sophomore able to work the Big Orange Race on Sunday, please see Mrs. Schields today to sign up.
On Monday, October 20th, Math Enrichment will be available after school. See the announcements page for details.
Interact will be holding its first meeting of the year on Monday, October 20th right afterschool in the library. Stop by and find out what Interact is and how you can get involved with this club that is service oriented and benefits the community as well as your own resume!
There will be a JV/Varsity Wrestling meeting in the rubber gym on Tuesday October 21st at 2:10 directly after school. For anyone interested in coming out for the wrestling team this season. The meeting will last no more than 10 minutes. Any questions please please see Mr Foley in the PE office

Tryouts for both PJHS teams will be on Tuesday, October 21 from 2:25 - 3:30. If you have any questions, email Mr. Wilson or Ms. Curreri.

ATTENTION SENIORS:
Please sign up for the fall trip in Miss Gibson's room 131 by September 19th. The trip will be Monday, October 27, 2025, from 5-9 pm at The Castle in Chester. It will cost approximately $65, depending on how many buses we need. The cost includes transportation to and from the event, a BBQ , mini-golf, go karts, zipline, laser tag, roller skating, rockwall, arcade (no prizes but unlimited play), and bowling. Permission slips due Friday, October 10th.
ATTENTION SENIORS: Field trip and campus tour of SUNY Orange in Middletown, NY on Tuesday, October 21st!
We’ll depart from the high school at 9:00 AM and return around 1:30 PM. If you’re planning to attend SUNY Orange in the fall—or just want to explore this beautiful campus—you’re encouraged to sign up. The trip is free for all seniors! Permission forms are available in the Guidance Office.

The PJHS Drama Club is proud to announce that the musical for this Spring is "Shrek"! If you are interested, please join the Club's Google Classroom using code 3wipo5v3 to be sure to get all the information regarding the production.
Grades 9-12 Boys Intramural basketball will begin this Sunday October 5th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at the East Main Street Elementary School gym and will continue every Sunday until November 16th. You can show up anytime from 5:30 to 6:00 and games go from 6:00 to 8. Port high school students only. Enter through the playground side of the gym
VEX Robotics will meet Mondays and Tuesdays in room 101 at 2:25 till 3:35. New members are welcome, see Mr. Hyziak with any questions.
