On Wed Nov 13 at 230 pm- Port Jervis Fire Department will do a demonstration of victim removal techniques. See how ropes and ladders and other pieces of equipment are used to safely lower and remove victims from buildings. Please see Nurse Weinick if interested! Please come and bring a friend!!
Basketball Cheerleading Sign Ups are on Mr. Gass' door. FamilyID is open to register and tryouts will be Tuesday 11/19 and Wednesday 11/20 from 3-5:30pm. (location TBD). HS Cafeteria

CLUBS & MEETINGS:
Please join us for our next Bon Voyage Club meeting on Thursday, November 21, 2024. While the meeting will focus on Japan’s famous noodles, we will also discuss plans for December’s Bûche de Noël Bake-Off!
Emergency Service Club --Looking for dedicated members interested in: all kinds of emergency operations, emergency preparedness, community service and helping others. learn CPR, emergency medicine, fire, police and so much more! Meeting every Wednesday, from 2:20 to 3:30- See Nurse Weinick for information.
The Student Council will be holding the Fund the Feast Gobble 'till you Wobble donation drive (formally Coins for a Cause during Spirit Week). With this epic battle of the first-period classes, students who collect the most money will win a bagel party for their class.
Rules:
The Student Council officers will bring a container to the first-period teacher and one will be placed in the library
Classes can collect bills and change.
The class with the most money will win a bagel party. Money will be calculated per student, so smaller classes have just the same chance of winning as larger ones.
Dates to collect are November 4-November 13th the party will be the following week.
All proceeds collected will go to the Thanksgiving Turkey Baskets.

Cost: $120.00 Cash, Check or Money Order made out to GSA due by December 1st includes ticket and transportation via Leprechaun buses (these buses have AC and usb charging ports). If it is easier, you can pay for your ticket in two $60 payments or three $40 payments.

Port Jervis Mock Trial meets every Monday in room 261 (formerly 311). Mock Trial is a competition in which students argue a legal case against other schools before a New York state judge. It is the perfect activity for anyone interested in the law, debate, or public speaking. New members are always welcome. Please see Mr. Dunleavy or Nurse Weinick for more information.
