2024-2025 Student Council and Class Officer Elections - Anyone interested in running for a Student Council or Class Officer Position for the upcoming school year should see Mrs. Nyland in the AP Office to receive the election packet and information. You must pick up a packet to be eligible to run for the election. Completed Election petitions are due to the AP Office by Wednesday, May 15th by 2:30pm
The Runnin’ Raiders completed their regular season schedule with identical 6-3 records. Our top performers were: Girls- Aniyah Green (1st 100h, 2nd 400h & long), Makenna Williams (1st 100 & 200), Samantha Maillet (1st 1500, 2nd 800), Yara Shihada (1st 400), Brielle Rene (1st discus & shot), Alexa Bennett (2nd discus, 3rd shot), Kayleigh Wright (3rd discus), Jordyn Belice (2nd shot), Kaitlyn Batzel (3rd 100). The girls 4x100 relay (Batzel, Williams, Allen, Ross) finished in first. Boys- TJ Fergus (1st 110h, 400h & triple jump, 3rd long), Tino Proscia (1st 100, long & HJ), Josiah Welch (1st 200, 2nd long), Shane Seger (1st 1600, 2nd 3200), Dorien Belice (1st shot & discus), Emmanuel Roman (2nd 200, 3rd 100), Yaveth Gonzalez (3rd 800), Alex Miller (2nd discus), Gabe Torres (2nd 400h), Tommy Andriac (3rd discus), Jeremiah Pagan (3rd 3200), and Jameson Stroud (3rd triple). The boys 4x100 relay (Roman, Welch, Allen, Proscia) finished in first. The boys 4x400 relay (Allen, Gonzalez, Roman, Welch) also finished in first. The Runnin’ Raiders next meet is the OCIAA championships May 17th & 18th at Warwick.
Voting for our MVP Male and MVP Female Athlete will take place in the Athletic Dept Office during PE Classes on Thursday, May 9th and Friday, May 10th. Any athlete who has earned a varsity letter, in any sport, is encouraged to vote.

FEARLESS! is accepting applications for their Summer Youth Leadership Academy (SYLA). The free, week-long program aims to empower and inspire students entering grades 9-12 to learn and speak up about racism, bullying, gender oppression, and the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships. Port Jervis High School seeks a Derby Car driver to represent it at the June 9th Soap Box Derby held in Port Jervis. There is no cost as the school will pay for your registration. See Mr. Koenig in room 210 after school for more details.
Firemen's Inspection Parade Participation Invitation: Please see the attached letter from the PJFD Secretary William Werner inviting Port Jervis Schools to participate in this year's parade.
