TODAY:
Varsity softball beat O’Neill 5-3 last night. The offense was led by Reagan Myers hitting another home run with two RBI’s along with Kamrynne Leicht and Molly Koenig adding two singles each. Abbey Montalvo got the win on the mound. Also please come support this afternoon as the Lady Raiders take on Beacon for the varsity softball senior night. The ceremony begins at 4:15pm!
The Runnin’ Raiders competed in a league meet against Beacon yesterday afternoon. The boys who were minus a couple of key athletes came up short of a victory. Our girls had their best showing of the season thus far and brought home their first win. Our top performers were: Girls- Abigail Russell (1st 100, 200m), Troi Roberts (1st 400m, 2nd 200m), Sam Maillet (2nd 800m, 2nd 1500m), Aniyah Green (2nd 100h, 400h), Ashlyn Overland (1st 400h, 3rd 100h), Jaelyn Csencsits (1st 100h, HJ, 3rd LJ), Toria Burton (2nd LJ), Jamiah Sewell (3rd 100, 200m), Elia Trujillo-Castillo (3rd 800m), Yara Shihada (3rd 400), Brielle Rene (1st shot), Jessica Sang (1st discus), Alexa Bennett (2nd discus, 2nd shot). 4x100 relay (Roberts, Sewell, Delilah Allen, Russell) placed 1stt, 4x400 relay (Roberts, Shihada, Csencsits, Russell) placed 1st, and the 4x800 relay (Maillet, Alyssa Carroll, Meagan Lauture, Trujillo-Castillo) placed 1st. Boys- Josiah Welch (2nd 100, 200, LJ), Tyrie Caridad (1st 100, 3rd 400 & 200), Louis Seward (3rd 400h), Shane Seger (3rd 1600, 2nd 3200), Joey Ebbecke (3rd 800, 2nd 1600), Ashur Allen (3rd LJ), Dorien Belice (2nd shot, 3rd discus), Xavian Joseph (3rd shot). Our next is this Wednesday at home.

Chemistry Regents Review: All after school review sessions are scheduled to be in room 311, starting at 2:15 and will end when the last student leaves. Come prepared with your practice test, answer sheet, calculator, reference tables, and questions. It is important that you try your best to answer the questions that we are going over before the review session. Note that your teacher also has free periods during the day and will be able to stay after school most Tuesdays and Thursdays. Regents Exams begin on Wednesday, June 14. There will likely be review sessions on June 14, June 15, and June 16. The time and content of those review sessions will be revealed at a later date.
The Powder Puff Teams have been created. You will be hearing from your coaches about practices.
Reminder to all Character Education award recipients: the school store will be closing on June 2nd this year. Please redeem your certificate for $2 worth of items at the store OR a slice of pizza (Thursdays) before 6/2!

Seniors - The Guy Perkowski Blue Collar Scholarship, The Matthew O'Brien Memorial Scholarship, and The Masonic War Veterans Beth-El Post #29 Scholarship have all been added to Naviance and your Senior Guidance Google Classroom. FEARLESS! is taking applications for their 12th annual Summer Youth Leadership Academy (SYLA). The free, in-person week-long program aims to empower students entering grades 9-12 to learn about racism, bullying, gender oppression, the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships, and building solutions for change.

Students will receive:
30 Hours of Community Service, $50 Stipend *new this year, A Letter of Recommendation

Yearbooks: Yearbooks can no longer be purchased on-line. Bring a check made out to Yearbook or cash for $80 to Mrs. Van Horn in room 104. They are on sale till the end of the school year.
Do you want a quiet place to eat your lunch? The following rooms are available for students to go to during their lunch period. Period 6-room 131, period 7-A Day-Auditorium, B Day-guidance conference & period 8 room 103.
Any student who will be driving to school needs to come to the AP's office and pick up an application for a parking permit. If you have previously received one you do not need to apply for a new one. Please make sure to display your permit in the bottom of your back window on the driver side. Stop by the Assistant Principal's office and see Mrs. Sauschuck for an application.
