The Google form can be located in the Guidance Junior Class of 2026 Google classroom. Registration for these courses will close on Friday, June 6th.
Are you thinking about running for a Student Council or Class Officer Position? If your answer is yes, fill out the Google Form interest survey that is posted in your Guidance Google Classroom by Monday, May 12. Interest form will close at 2:30pm. See Mrs. Nyland with any questions.

The RSVP and payment are due to Karen Howard in the Athletic Department by Thursday, May 22nd. If you did not receive your invitation by mail or need a new form, please stop by and pick one up as soon as possible.

Dear Freshman: Our class is selling yard signs in supPORT of our Class of 2025 graduates. Each sign is $20. Please use the attached order form to take orders. You may pick up the signs in Mrs. Schields' office to get to your customers. Please be sure you collect the money (either cash or a check made out to "PJHS Class of '28". They must be paid for before you pick them up.

Chemistry Regents Review is being held after school every Monday (room 262) and Wednesday (room 261). See Mr. Dunleavy or Mrs. Robinson for details.
Beginning Monday, May 5th, Living Environment Regents Review will be held from 2:35 - 3:35 every Monday in room 206
On 5/7, 5/14, 5/28, 6/4, and 6/11 there will be co-ed volleyball open gyms from 2:30-4:00. This will be shortened tournament style play. See Coach Stankunas with any questions.

The Annual K-12 Art Show will be held on May 16, 2025 from 6-8pm in the high school Cafeteria. We will be exhibiting art work from our art students Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Also we will have work from the Family and Consumer Science Department and the Technology Education Department exhibited. Please come out to join us in a celebration of the ARTS!

LATE BUSES: late buses run Monday through Friday. They depart at 3:45 pm and again at 4:45. They are for students staying after school for school-related functions, and students must be issued a pass by their teacher or coach to ride the bus home.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Standby for an Important Cell Phone announcement from Mr. Lazzaro
As you may know, Governor Hochul has set forth an initiative to curtail cell phone usage among students. While the expectation has been that cell phones stay out of sight in instructional spaces at all times, we are going to be working toward enforcing this policy consistently. Teachers will remind students at the beginning of the period that cell phones are to be put away. Students who have their cell phones out will be subject to progressive discipline.
Cell phones, as you know, are not only a distraction to student learning, they also have a negative impact on social-emotional connections and mental health. This effort will require not only the consistent enforcement of this expectation in the classrooms and in the school, but the support of our families. Our collective efforts will ultimately benefit our students.
