• ATTENTION SENIOR ATHLETES: Invitations for the Senior Athlete Awards Banquet have been mailed to Senior Athletes.  The banquet will be held on Wednesday, June 12th at 6:00PM at the Erie Trackside.  The RSVP and payment are due to be returned to Karen Howard in the Athletic Department by Friday, May 24th.  If you did not receive your invitation by mail or need a new form, please stop by and pick one up as soon as possible.

• Football Cheerleading Tryouts: Mon. May 20th- Wed. May 22nd, High School Gym, 3-5:30pm, Sign up on the door of Mr. Gass’ Office.

• The Runnin’ Raiders took part in the Race for the Oval Office at FDR High School Saturday May 4th. A total of 17 medals were earned and one school record was broken. Josiah Welch placed third in the 400m dash and broke an 11-year-old record in the process. Our other top performers were:  Makenna Williams (2nd Fresh/Soph 100), Emily Sweeney (4th Fresh/Soph discus), Kayleigh Wright (7th Fresh/Soph discus), Sydney Bhikarry (2nd Fresh/Soph long), Emmanuel Roman (4th Fresh/Soph 100), Ashur Allen (1st Fresh/Soph 400m, 5th Fresh/Soph 100), Kaitlyn Batzel (2nd Fresh/Soph long), and the boys Fresh/Soph 4x100 relay team of Kameron Knesel, Jameson Stroud, Allen and Roman placed 4th. Varsity medalists include Abigail Russell (6th 100), Tino Proscia (2nd long, 5th 100), TJ Fergus (4th 110h, 7th triple), Dorien Belice (4th shot, 5th discus), and Bryce Shannon (6th 1600). Great job by all!

• After School Living Environment Review: Mrs. Langlitz will be staying after school for regents review on Wednesdays, starting May 1st, from 2:25-3:25.  During each (optional) after-school session, we will review important content and work through practice questions to prepare for the June 2024 Living Environment Regents, according to the schedule below. Living Environment Regents Exam Date: Friday, June 14th. Below is the schedule of topics for each of the 7 sessions

• Port Jervis High School seeks a Derby Car driver to represent it at the June 9th Soap Box Derby held in Port Jervis. There is no cost as the school will pay for your registration. See Mr. Koenig in room 210 after school for more details.

• Firemen's Inspection Parade Participation Invitation: Please see the attached letter from the PJFD Secretary William Werner inviting Port Jervis Schools to participate in this year's parade.  This is for ALL CLUBS, ACTIVITIES, TEAMS, ATHLETES, AND GROUPS  and their advisors and coaches.
