2024-2025 Student Council and Class Officer Elections - Anyone interested in running for a Student Council or Class Officer Position for the upcoming school year should see Mrs. Nyland in the AP Office to receive the election packet and information. You must pick up a packet to be eligible to run for the election. Completed Election petitions are due to the AP Office by Wednesday, May 15th by 2:30pm

There will be a GSA meeting after school this Wednesday, May 15th in the guidance office. All are welcome!
There will be a Sophomore Class Meeting 2nd period on Wednesday, May 15th in the auditorium. This is approximately a 20-25 minute presentation and will return to class when finished.
The FRESHMAN CLASS COOKIE DOUGH fundraiser forms are TO BE TURNED in to Mrs. Corcoran in ROOM 212 by WEDNESDAY, 5/15.

Reach out for help:
If you see someone struggling with their emotions and mental health, reach out to them! Let them know you care. A simple text message, snap or call can make a big difference. Connect them to adults who can help. Reach out to others if you are having a hard time---family, friends, teachers, counselors, etc. There are resources available in the guidance office and here Virtual Calming Room. #TakeAMentalHealthMoment. ADAC is having a Mental Health Awareness Scavenger Hunt for prizes! Please see the bulletin board outside the library. Winners will be drawn on May 31st!

FEARLESS! is accepting applications for their Summer Youth Leadership Academy (SYLA). The free, week-long program aims to empower and inspire students entering grades 9-12 to learn and speak up about racism, bullying, gender oppression, and the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships. Firemen's Inspection Parade Participation Invitation: Please see the attached letter from the PJFD Secretary William Werner inviting Port Jervis Schools to participate in this year's parade. This is for ALL CLUBS, ACTIVITIES, TEAMS, ATHLETES, AND GROUPS and their advisors and coaches. The parade will be held on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 and the line-up is at 1 pm at the HS.
