May is Art Month at Port--Art Displays are around the school all this month celebrating the achievements of our art students. In the Auditorium hallway, you will find the artwork from Intro to Art Classes this week. Students from Mrs. Horst, Ms. Weed and Ms. Maloney's classes have created work in pencil, charcoal, watercolor and acrylic in a variety of styles. In the large display case near the Tech Rooms, you will find the art portfolio of Olivia Rodriguez who will be attending Rochester Institute of Technology this Fall for Video Game Design. Congratulations to all.
2024-2025 Student Council and Class Officer Elections - Anyone interested in running for a Student Council or Class Officer Position for the upcoming school year should see Mrs. Nyland in the AP Office to receive the election packet and information. You must pick up a packet to be eligible to run for the election. Completed Election petitions are due to the AP Office by Wednesday, May 15th by 2:30pm
Voting for our MVP Male and MVP Female Athlete will take place in the Athletic Dept Office during PE Classes today. Any athlete who has earned a varsity letter, in any sport, is encouraged to vote.

FEARLESS! is accepting applications for their Summer Youth Leadership Academy (SYLA). The free, week-long program aims to empower and inspire students entering grades 9-12 to learn and speak up about racism, bullying, gender oppression, and the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships. Firemen's Inspection Parade Participation Invitation: Please see the attached letter from the PJFD Secretary William Werner inviting Port Jervis Schools to participate in this year's parade.
