• TODAY:

  • Softball workouts will be this Thursday in the HS gym from 6:30-8pm. The first day of softball tryouts will be March 11th in the HS gym from 2:45-4:45 pm. You MUST BE CLEARED with an updated physical in order to try out. Please see Miss Beirne if you have any questions.

  • There will be a quick track meeting tomorrow after school in Mod 1. If you have any questions see Coach Wright or Coach Somarelli. 

  • Attention Sophomores... The strawberries will be delivered on Friday March 8th. Please pick up your flats and order forms between 2-6pm at the concession stand by the track. You MUST pick them up on Friday since these are perishable items and there is no place to store them. Also if you sold to faculty and staff, YOU must deliver them to your buyers. If these are not delivered and there is spoilage, there is no reimbursement and the company will not replace them.

  • If you are interested in Outdoor track and field, FamilyID is open. First is March 11th.

  • Any boys interested in playing tennis in the spring please come to the tennis courts at 2:30 on Monday, March 11th for a brief hit around. You can also sign up on family ID to register for tennis. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Papertsian via email mpapertsian@pjschools.org or phone 718-473-5486.

  • Congratulations to the February recipients of our Character Education Recognition Program. Each received a $2 voucher to the school store towards items or a slice of pizza.  Keep showing good character, PJHS!

• Mark your calendars! The Powder Puff game is back! 2 Teams of Port Jervis Girls will compete in a flag football game on Thursday, May 16th. All high school girls in grades 9-12 can sign up now in Guidance. The cost is $14 to pay for your shirt. The first 40 paid can reserve their spot on a team. Hosted by SADD - All proceeds benefit the Senior Grad Party!
