Congratulations to our Odyssey of the Mind teams who competed on Saturday! Problem 3: Classics - Cooking with the Books placed 3rd and will advance to States on April 5th. Please congratulate Olivia Baumgardner, Aidan Birish, Jocelyn Curreri, Brayden Ebbecke, Kyra Hsu, Gideon Torres, and Kayleigh Wright. Our Problem 5: AstronOMical Odyssey! team of Joceyln Curreri, Julia Elston, Michelle Gemina, Francesca Moliterno, Yara Shihada, Gabe Torres and Katie Werlitz placed 3rd on Saturday and will be advancing to States on April 5th! Your countless hours of dedication, hard work and creativity have paid off!
Congratulations to the musicians who performed in the All-County Jazz Music Festival over the weekend. Abigail Straeler sang soprano in the Vocal Jazz group. Bradley Riehl performed on piano in the High School Jazz Band and Victoria Cross performed on Alto Saxophone in the Junior High Jazz Band. We are so proud of all of you and your musical accomplishments.
Liahna Mullen is going to be recognized by the Basketball Coaches Association of New York as a "Top 50" player in all of Section IX" for the 24-25 season. This is among all the schools in section IX, Triple A (AAA) schools through D

The Emergency Service Club will be hosting the Port Jervis Fire Department and present a demonstration on victim extrication utilizing a 3 in 1 mechanical advantage lowering system. They will be in front of the school on Wednesday March 12 from about 2:30 pm until 3:30

Any senior going on the Orlando Trip must see the nurse to pick up a mandatory medication form. This form must be returned at the parent meeting March 13. Contact the Nurse or Senior class advisor for more information.

Juniors may purchase tickets to the Semi-Formal after school from Miss Gibson in room 131 from February 24th-March 7th. Tickets are $75 per person. The Semi-Formal is March 15th from 6-9pm at the Best Western in Matamoras.
PM BOCES juniors may purchase tickets 2nd-period from Miss Gibson in room 131
If your date is NOT a junior, please obtain a special permission form from Mrs. Sauschuck, fill it out, and return it to Mrs. Sauschuck by February 28th, NO LATE FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED! You may NOT purchase your date's ticket until they are approved.
Juniors may not purchase tickets if they are NOT in good standing. You must check with Miss Gibson before buying a ticket.

LATE BUSES: late buses run Monday through Friday. They depart from the middle school at 3:45 pm and again at 4:45. They are for students staying after school for school-related functions, and students must be issued a pass by their teacher or coach to ride the bus home.
