March is National Optimism Month!
Optimism refers to hopefulness or confidence about the future. It also means a belief in the success of something.
Optimistic people are generally content because of their persistent optimism
Optimism has a positive effect on health, vitality, and ultimately, happiness.
There is a cycle; optimism comes with benefits that make one happy, leading to more optimism!
The Character Trait of the month for March is Honesty~~the color is light blue. Please wear your light blue for Honesty on Wednesdays!
Honesty - is not just about telling the truth; it’s about being real with yourself and others about who you are, what you want, and what you need to live your most authentic life.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Standby for an Important Cell Phone announcement from Mr. Lazzaro
As you may know, Governor Hochul has set forth an initiative to curtail cell phone usage among students. While the expectation has been that cell phones stay out of sight in instructional spaces at all times, we are going to be working toward enforcing this policy consistently. Teachers will remind students at the beginning of the period that cell phones are to be put away. Students who have their cell phones out will be subject to progressive discipline.
Cell phones, as you know, are not only a distraction to student learning, they also have a negative impact on social-emotional connections and mental health. This effort will require not only the consistent enforcement of this expectation in the classrooms and in the school, but the support of our families. Our collective efforts will ultimately benefit our students.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Thank you for all of your support as we work together to move our students forward.
