  • As women’s history month draws to a close, the PJHS Equals Movement invites you to enjoy their two exhibits if you haven’t already done so. There is a banner in the front lobby celebrating international female icons of sports, movies, government, and science. There is also a PJHS Women’s HERstory Hall of Fame in front of the nurse’s office. Please join us in congratulating the 2024 inductees: Mrs. Schields, Mrs. Valiente, Mrs. Gunderman, Ms. Broas, Ms. Elston, Ms. Roda, and Madame Fedorick.  These women have inspired our Equals Movement members. Stop by the bulletin board to learn why they should inspire you, too!

• Sign up here for the Hudson Valley Honor Flight on 4/13/2024. 

• 🏫 There will be a field trip on Friday, May 3rd for current juniors taking a Mount Saint Mary College class through the Knight program. Juniors currently enrolled in a MSMC class can pick up a permission form for this trip in the Guidance office.

• Port Jervis High School seeks a Derby Car driver to represent it at the June 9th Soap Box Derby held in Port Jervis. There is no cost as the school will pay for your registration. See Mr. Koenig in room 210 after school for more details.

• Attention Juniors, your semi-formal is April 27th, please check the Google Classroom for the class of 2025, and sign up to assist in making decorations for your Semi-Formal in room 205.

• Art Club Meeting Thursday April 4 to hold Officer elections.

• Mark your calendars! The Powder Puff game is back! 2 Teams of Port Jervis Girls will compete in a flag football game on Thursday, May 16th. All high school girls in grades 9-12 can sign up now in Guidance. The cost is $14 to pay for your shirt. The first 40 paid can reserve their spot on a team. Hosted by SADD - All proceeds benefit the Senior Grad Party!
