June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Across the globe, various events are held during June to recognize the influence LGBTQ+ individuals have had around the world. Pride month is an opportunity to peacefully protest and raise political awareness of current issues facing the LGBTQ+ community. Although attitudes and injustice still remain, the LGBTQ+ community has come a long way and by celebrating Pride Month we continue to raise awareness, improve societal attitudes and encourage inclusiveness. The rainbow flag is an international symbol for LGBTQ+ pride. It can be seen flying proudly all around the world in support of Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community as a whole. #Pride2023
