  • Attention All Seniors-Scholarship Workshop on Tuesday, January 30 in the Guidance Conference Room 2:15-3:15pm. 

  • REMINDER: Seniors must complete their PJHS Scholarship Application BY THIS THURSDAY, February 1, to be eligible to participate in the PJHS Scholarship Process - scholarships awarded at our spring Scholarship Night. 

  • Materials include: PJHS Scholarship Google Form with general essay; activity resume, 2 letters of recommendation, college/trade/tech school acceptance letters and/or military commitments. (*This is step one and must be completed by 2/1 even if a scholarship due date is after February 1.)

  • Show your Valentine or a friend some kindness during Random Acts of Kindness Week! The PJYC will be selling carnations during lunch periods Tuesday 2/6, Wednesday 2/7, Thursday 2/8 and Friday 2/9 (*while supplies last) to be delivered to their 1st period class on Wednesday 2/14. $2 each.

  • Boys & Girls Volleyball open gym 1/30 @ 2:30-4:00

  • 🏳️‍🌈 The GSA will be meeting tomorrow, January 31st after school in the HS guidance conference room.  All are welcome!

    • The Character Trait of the Month for January is Forgiveness. Please wear PINK on Wednesdays to represent Forgiveness! Forgiveness -  a conscious and deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you.

• Art Club will meet on FEB 1 from 2:15-3:35.  We will not be meeting on Regents Week.  On Feb 1 we will be making Sailor's Valentines for area Senior Citizens. All members are needed to make a nice set of valentines and maybe one for a friend as well. Ms. Maloney 116.

• First aid and CPR course will be held during February and March at the Emergency Service Club- See Nurse Weinick for more info and to sign up- you must sign up to attend

• Boys & Girls Volleyball Open gyms will be held in the HS at the following times: 2/2 @ 2:30-4:00, 2/5 @ 2:30-4:00, 2/8 @ 2:30-4:00. See Coach Stankunas in 209 for more information.
