• TODAY:

  • Sophomore class please make sure the orders and payments for the honey fundraiser are due to Miss Gibson in room 131 TODAY. NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • Any student interested in going on the CTEC visit on January 31, please stop in Guidance for a permission slip. Deadline for the form to be returned is January 22, 2024. 

  • Members of the Air Force will be here during lunch periods.

  • This weekend was the Indoor Divisional championship meet which was held at Gillis Field house in West Point. The Runnin’ Raiders continue to produce personal and season best performances, as well as some individual event champions. Our top scores were: Ashur Allen (3rd 55m & 5th 300m), Savannah Mioglionico (3rd 55 hurdles), Samantha Maillet (5th 1000m), Kaitlyn Batzel (4th 55m), Sydney Bhikarry (5th HJ), Bryce Shannon (2nd in 3200m & 1600), Tino Proscia (2nd 55m & LJ), Dave Mioglionico (6th shot), Josiah Welch (4th 300m), Dorien Belice (1st shot), TJ Fergus (1st 55 hurdles, 6th LJ, 3rd TJ), and Aniyah Green (1st 55 hurdles & 3rd LJ). Aniyah is the first Port girl to win a division title in the hurdles. Great job by all!

    • The Character Trait of the Month for January is Forgiveness. Please wear PINK on Wednesdays to represent Forgiveness! Forgiveness -  a conscious and deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you.

• Art Club will meet on FEB 1 from 2:15-3:35.  We will not be meeting on Regents Week.  On Feb 1 we will be making Sailor's Valentines for area Senior Citizens. All members are needed to make a nice set of valentines and maybe one for a friend as well. Ms. Maloney 116.

• First aid and CPR course will be held during February and March at the Emergency Service Club- See Nurse Weinick for more info and to sign up- you must sign up to attend

• Boys & Girls Volleyball Open gyms will be held in the HS at the following times: 1/30 @ 2:30-4:00, 2/2 @ 2:30-4:00, 2/5 @ 2:30-4:00, 2/8 @ 2:30-4:00. See Coach Stankunas in 209 for more information.
