  • The PJYC will be collecting donations into the new year for the student "Take What You Need" hygiene shelves in the PJHS locker rooms. Please click here to see the flier for items that are needed.

  • Congratulations to Tino Proscia who ran for a new school record of 6.64 in the 55m dash breaking the old record of 6.72. He also ran an emerging elite qualification time to run at nationals on 12/22. The first ever Running Raider made it to nationals for the 55m.

  • Over break the Runnin’ Raiders competed at the Section 9 Holiday meet and The Marine Corp Classic. Many of the athletes that competed had personal best performances. As a result of their performances McKenna Williams (55m dash), Ashur Allen (400m), and Constentino Proscia (55m dash & long jump) qualified to compete at the 2024 Nike Indoor Nationals in March at the Armory in New York City. Our next meet will be January 13th at West Point.

    • The Character Trait of the Month for January is Forgiveness. Please wear PINK on Wednesdays to represent Forgiveness! Forgiveness -  a conscious and deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you.

• The PJYC will be meeting Monday, January 8th at 2:15pm in room 103.

• The GSA is organizing a broadway trip to see the musical Hamilton on April 17, 2024. We will depart from the HS at 7:30 AM and return at approximately 6:30 PM. $179.00 Cash, Check, or Money Order made out to GSA due by January 15th includes ticket and transportation via Leprechaun buses. Limited seats are available! See Ms. Oldham in the guidance office for more information and a permission form.
