Today is a “B” Day

• BIRTHDAYS: Andres Pacheco Tello & Nevaeh Seed

• TODAY:

  • Members of the National Guard will be coming in on January 17th during lunch periods.

  • The Runnin’ Raiders competed at West Point last Saturday. Many athletes had personal best performances. Among them were Abi Russell in the 300m, Savannah Mioglionico in the 55 hurdles, Josiah Welch just missed the school record in the 300, McKenna Williams in the 55, Ashur Allen in both the 300 and 55. Ashur’s time in the 55 qualified him for a second event at the Nike Indoor Nationals. He is only the second Port athlete to qualify in multiple events for nationals. Constentino Proscia set a new school record in the long jump. He jumped 22 feet and 2 1/2 inches. Constentino’s jump is ranked 4th in New York State and 51st in the US.

  • Sophomore class please make sure the orders and payments for the honey fundraiser are due to Miss Gibson in room 131 on Friday January 26th. NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • Attention Seniors: Prom planning begins this Wednesday after school in room 311. If you want a say in shaping your prom, be sure to attend. See Google Classroom for details.

  • Any student interested in going on the CTEC visit on January 31, please stop in Guidance for a permission slip. Deadline for the form to be returned is January 22, 2024.

    • The Character Trait of the Month for January is Forgiveness. Please wear PINK on Wednesdays to represent Forgiveness! Forgiveness -  a conscious and deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you.

• First aid and CPR course will be held during February and March at the Emergency Service Club- See Nurse Weinick for more info and to sign up- you must sign up to attend
