The Port Jervis Youth Coalition will be selling Carnations for Valentine's Day during lunch periods beginning on Thursday, February 6th until they are sold out. First come, first serve. They will be delivered during first period on Valentine's Day, February 14. The carnations are $2 each or 3 for $5, cash only.

The Runnin’ Raiders competed Sunday Night at the Armory in NYC. Kaitlyn Batzel placed 9th in the 55m and 4th in the long jump. Ben Cilius and Xavian Joseph placed 4th and fifth in the shot put. Emannuel Roman placed 7th in the 55m. Ashur Allen placed 6th in the 55m and 9th in the 300m. Ashur set a new school record in the 300m.

Attention Seniors: If you are requesting early dismissal for the 2nd semester please check the Guidance Senior Classroom for the Early Dismissal survey which was posted by Mrs. Oldham on Jan. 28, 2025. Once you fill this out and we have your parents permission we can start the process towards your early release.

Love Is Respect---Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month informationThe Orange County Arts Council will once again host its annual “The Arts Build Confidence Showcase” on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 10am to 3pm in the Center Court on the lower level of the Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown. The event features an exhibit of Orange County High School student artwork, a digital display of elementary and middle school artwork, and performances by the high school theater groups. Come out and support the Port Jervis Art Department. You don’t want to miss it!
Congrats to PJHS Senior Gabrielle Polarski. She is the winner of the prestigious Scholastic Gold Key Art Award for her piece Lured into the Deep. She will be honored, and her artwork will be featured at an event at SUNY New Paltz on Feb. 7th, 2025. She also will move on to the National Scholastic Art Competition and compete against other Gold Key winners.
Congratulations to Dylan Fox on being named Class B Player of the Year and Coach Striharsky on being named Coach of the Year..
