• Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Bowling team on their first Section Championship.

• Port Jervis has once again received  2 Grand Prize Winners in the Orange County  ADAC Poster Contest for the High School. There were well over 1,000 entries.  The winners are:  

  • Jazlynn Mann   Grand Prize for Digital Spanish Poster

  • Jamie Honders   Grand Prize for Spanish Poster

  • The students will be recognized in a ceremony in May for their Artistic Accomplishments. Their posters will be professionally printed  and displayed throughout Orange County.

• TODAY’S HOT LUNCH: Pizza

• There is a freshman class officer meeting Tuesday (3/3) in room 206.

• Varsity Outdoor Track and Field registrations are open on FamilyID-- the season starts March 9th.

• The freshman class will be selling shamrock-grams during the week of Saint Patrick's Day.

• The freshman class is holding a tricky tray at the high school March 21.

• Any CTEC students going on the CTEC visitation trip the 12th - permission slips are due no later than Thursday, March 5th to guidance.

• The final girls lacrosse open gym is scheduled for this Saturday at 9am in the middle school gym. All levels are welcome. equipment will be provided, please just bring your own mouthguard. There will also be a mandatory informational meeting/open gym next Tuesday, March 3rd at 2:25 in the middle school gym for JV lacrosse. JV is open to 7-12 graders. Bring your friends and see what lacrosse is all about. Please see Miss Delaney or Miss Midtbo if you have any questions.

• Softball Workouts will be held in the Middle School gym from 6-7:30pm on the following dates: 

• 3/02, 3/03

• If you are interested in playing softball this spring please come to the workouts and sign up outside the girls locker room. Also, please bring a helmet, glove, bat and sneakers for each workout!

• The first day of tryouts will be March 9th from 2:30-4:30 pm; weather permitting we will hold tryouts on the varsity softball field or if we are inside we will be in the Middle School gym. Again, please bring a helmet, bat, glove, cleats, and sneakers to each practice.

ATTENTION FRESHMEN CLASS:

ATTENTION JUNIOR CLASS:

JUNIOR SEMI-FORMAL will be held on Saturday, March 21st. Come to room 212 after school on Wednesdays if you'd like to help with decorations. Semi formal guest contracts can be picked up from Mrs. Sauschuck in the AP Office from February 23rd-March 6th.  No contracts will be given after March 6th. This is for guests who do not currently attend PJHS. All guests have to be approved- PJHS and also past graduates, or students from another district.

• Please check our Class of 2027 Classroom. There are two (2) Google Forms to check out and an announcement about the Krispy Kreme sale. 

• Juniors will be SELLING KRISPY KREMES to help offset the cost of Junior Semi-Formal. See a Junior for your Krispy Kremes. The delivery date is March 4.

ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• A club fair will be held on Wednesday, March 11th during lunch hours- come see what clubs we have to offer you. 

• Attention all babysitters:  A child care health and safety training  program will be offered by the Emergency Service Club on Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 starting April  8th - See Nurse Amy for more details and to sign up

• Registration for Spring Sports is now open on Family ID.  Please register now and make sure to check with the school nurse to ensure you are cleared to participate BEFORE the season starts on Monday, April 9th.  For anyone needing a physical, Dr. Little will be here on Tuesday, March 3rd from 7:30-8:30 AM performing physicals in the Nurse's Office.

• Signups are currently open on Family ID for Varsity Boys Golf. There will be a mandatory meeting on Monday, March 9 at 2:15 in Room 105. Practices/Tryouts will start on Tuesday, March 17 at the Lynx Golf Club. 

• The Port Jervis Youth Coalition (PJYC) will meet on Wednesday, March 4th at 2:05 pm in room 103.  (members: if you cannot attend please inform an officer, Mrs. Grismer or Ms. Antalek).

•  Sophomore with the most sales will earn a gift card.

• Do you speak another language besides English? If so, the Seal of Biliteracy is for you. All juniors and seniors, please check your email for important information about this amazing program! See Mrs. Fedorick if you have any questions.

• Beginning 11/20/25, there will be 2 - 4:45pm Late buses on Monday and Thursday only. Be sure to get a pass from the adult you stayed with to board these buses.
