The Runnin’ Raiders took part in the Kingston Relays on Saturday. Congrats to Bryce Shannon for placing 3rd in the steeple chase ( he is currently ranked #73 in US). Our other top performers were Dorien Belice (2nd discus), Jordyn Belice (Fresh/Soph 3rd shot & 6th discus), Sydney Bhikarry (Fresh/Soph 6th long jump and triple jump), Jameson Stroud (7th triple jump), Alexa Bennett (7th discus), Timothy Fergus (7th 400h & 8th triple jump), Josiah Welch (8th long jump), and Constentino Proscia (2nd long jump, 3rd high jump). Emmanuel Roman, Welch, Ashur Allen, and Proscia finished third in the 4x100 relay. The same four boys competed in the 4x200 relay placing fourth overall and setting a new school record in the process. Our next meet is May 1st at home.
Community Service Hours this Sunday, May 5th at the Port Jervis High School Concession Stand by Chase Field (HS end) from 8:30am - 10:00am for the Delaware River Run. This invite is in Passport for Good under your “Class of”

🏫 There will be a field trip on Friday, May 3rd for current juniors taking a Mount Saint Mary College class through the Knight program. Juniors currently enrolled in a MSMC class can pick up a permission form for this trip in the Guidance office.
The Powder Puff Teams have been created! PORT - Black Shirts will be coached by Miss Beirne, PRIDE - Red Shirts will be coached by Mr. Lazzaro & Dr. Bell. Your coaches will notify you of practices. The game will be Thursday, May 16th at 4:30 p.m. at Harriet Space Park.
Port Jervis High School seeks a Derby Car driver to represent it at the June 9th Soap Box Derby held in Port Jervis. There is no cost as the school will pay for your registration. See Mr. Koenig in room 210 after school for more details.
Firemen's Inspection Parade Participation Invitation: Please see the attached letter from the PJFD Secretary William Werner inviting Port Jervis Schools to participate in this year's parade. This is for ALL CLUBS, ACTIVITIES, TEAMS, ATHLETES, AND GROUPS and their advisors and coaches. The parade will be held on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 and the line-up is at 1 pm at the HS.
