TODAY:
This Saturday the Runnin’ Raiders took part in the Trotters Classic in Goshen. We had two athletes medal, 13 finished top 20 in their events, and several had personal best performances. Abigail Russell placed 3rd out of 150 girls in the 100m. Constentino Proscia, Josiah Welch, and Calvin Crews placed 1st, 18th, and 19th out of 145 athletes in the 100m. Ellis Startup and Xavian Joseph placed 7th and 17th out of 70 athletes in discus. Jessica Sang, Alexa Bennett, and Brielle Rene placed 6th, 8th, and 12th out of 50 athletes in the discus. Aniyah Green placed 9th in 100 hurdles. TJ Fergus placed 11th in the 110 hurdles and 10th in the triple jump. Troi Roberts placed 7th in the 400 out of 100 athletes. Samantha Maillet and Elia Trujillo-Castillo placed 20th and 22nd out of 60 athletes in the 800. The girl’s sprint medley relay of Roberts, Russell, Jamiah Sewell, and Maillet placed 7th out of 20 teams. The boy’s sprint medley relay Tyrie Caridad, Welch, Proscia, and Joey Ebbecke placed 4th out of 25 teams. Great Job by all! The Runnin’ Raiders will be back in action This Wednesday at home.
Officers from the Port Jervis City Police Department will be joining police officers across New York State to participate in the 2023 Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee “No Empty Chair” Teen Driver Safety Initiative during the week of April 24, 2023 – April 28, 2023, designed to improve young driver safety and awareness. The Student Council is hosting the spring blood drive April 27, 2023 from 8-12 in the NYBlood Center Bloodmobile. Please sign up through the link below. Students 16 and older may donate. Please pick up your permission slips in the main office or print from the attached files. 16 year olds need both permission slips. 17 & 18 year olds need the school permission slip. Students must return the permission slips before Tuesday April 25th to the main office to participate. You must have an appointment. You will need your confirmation, permission slip, and a form of ID (either a license or school id card) the day of the drive. If you do not have an ID, please see Ms. Leicht in the main office. FEARLESS! is taking applications for their 12th annual Summer Youth Leadership Academy (SYLA). The free, in-person week-long program aims to empower students entering grades 9-12 to learn about racism, bullying, gender oppression, the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships, and building solutions for change.
WHEN: July 24- July 28 | - Port Jervis Recreational Center, 135 Pike Street
Students will receive:
30 Hours of Community Service, $50 Stipend *new this year, A Letter of Recommendation

Yearbooks: Yearbooks can no longer be purchased on-line. Bring a check made out to Yearbook or cash for $80 to Mrs. Van Horn in room 104. They are on sale till the end of the school year.
Do you want a quiet place to eat your lunch? The following rooms are available for students to go to during their lunch period. Period 6-room 131, period 7-A Day-Auditorium, B Day-guidance conference & period 8 room 103.
Any student who will be driving to school needs to come to the AP's office and pick up an application for a parking permit. If you have previously received one you do not need to apply for a new one. Please make sure to display your permit in the bottom of your back window on the driver side. Stop by the Assistant Principal's office and see Mrs. Sauschuck for an application.
