The Runnin’ Raiders competed in their first dual meet of the season. Both teams suffered losses but still performed well. Our top performers were: Girls- Abigail Russell (1st 200, 2nd 100), Makenna Williams (1st 100, 2nd 200), Stephanie Miranda 3rd 3000), Alexa Bennett (2nd discus, 3rd shot), Jordyn Belice (2nd shot, 3rd discus), the relay of Kaitlyn Batzel, Makenna Williams, Delilah Allen, and Abigail Russell placed first in the 4x100. Boys- Constentino Proscia (1st 100, 2nd HJ, 3rd LJ), Josiah Welch (3rd 100, 2nd 200), Ashur Allen (1st 400), Timothy Fergus (3rd 110h, 3rd 400h, 2nd triple), Emmanuel Roman (3rd 200), Bryce Shannon (1st 1600 & 3200), Dorien Belice (1st shot). The relay of Emmanuel Roman, Ashur Allen, Luis Alcantara, and Josiah Welch placed first in the 4x100.
Attention Juniors Friday is the last day to purchase your semi formal ticket. If you do not have a ticket you will not be able to attend. Please see Google classroom for more information.
Looking for Community Service Hours? This Saturday, Earth Day, there will be a clean up at Mahackamack Churchyard (Cemetery) located in between Water's Edge Apartments and St. Mary's Cemetery on East Main Street. Time is from 9:00am - 10:30am. Bring a rake and gloves if possible but there will be some supplied. This event is on Passport for Good in your class for credit.
Attention Juniors: The Semi-Formal is on April 27th in the Gym. Our theme is Old Hollywood. Get your tickets from Mrs. Sorensen or Mrs. Marku every day until April 19th. They will be waiting for you outside of the cafeteria. The tickets are on sale for $20. To bring a guest from outside of Port Jervis High School or who is not a junior, please see Mrs. Sauschuck in the AP's office to get the approval form. They will not be able to attend without approval.
Bible Club will be meeting this Thursday, April 18 in the Library, from 2:15-3pm. Light snacks included.

🏫 There will be a field trip on Friday, May 3rd for current juniors taking a Mount Saint Mary College class through the Knight program. Juniors currently enrolled in a MSMC class can pick up a permission form for this trip in the Guidance office.
Port Jervis High School seeks a Derby Car driver to represent it at the June 9th Soap Box Derby held in Port Jervis. There is no cost as the school will pay for your registration. See Mr. Koenig in room 210 after school for more details.
