TODAY:
Take Down Tobacco. The PJYC wants all of PJHS to know The Facts About Big Tobacco 2023. (https://www.takedowntobacco.org/) Just some of the ways the tobacco industry tries to trick and deceive us:
One Juul pod contains as much nicotine as a whole pack of cigarettes — and many products today can contain much more.
E-cigarettes have driven a massive surge in youth nicotine addiction. In 2022, 42% of high school e-cigarette users vaped most days or daily — a strong sign of addiction.
The time has been changed for the Hudson Valley Honor Flight trip on Saturday, April 15th. Students will now need to be at the High School by 6:15 p.m. and the bus will be leaving for Stewart Airport at 6:30 p.m. The Veterans' flight will now be landing at 8:00 p.m. at Stewart. The expected return time to the High School is now 9:30 - 9:45 p.m.
