E-cigarettes aerosol delivers nicotine, toxic chemicals, volatile compounds, heavy metals and ultrafine particles that can reach deep into the lungs.
E-cigarette companies exploit loopholes in tobacco advertising regulations to target young people on social media and other digital platforms. E-cigarette companies and influencers market their products extensively and maintain a strong presence across social media sites.

The time has been changed for the Hudson Valley Honor Flight trip on Saturday, April 15th. Students will now need to be at the High School by 6:15 p.m. and the bus will be leaving for Stewart Airport at 6:30 p.m. The Veterans' flight will now be landing at 8:00 p.m. at Stewart. The expected return time to the High School is now 9:30 - 9:45 p.m.
The Girls Powder Puff Teams are full! Any boys who would like to be Cheerleaders can sign up now in guidance! Uniforms will be provided so there is no cost.
Attention All Students: Please join the Port Jervis Youth Coalition (PJYC) tomorrow, Wednesday, April 12th, as we Chalk the Walk during all lunch periods in front of the school, in support of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids National "Take Down Tobacco" Day! We will chalk our sidewalks full of anti-tobacco, anti-smoking and anti-vaping messages and pictures. PJHS Takes Down Tobacco!

FEARLESS! is taking applications for their 12th annual Summer Youth Leadership Academy (SYLA). The free, in-person week-long program aims to empower students entering grades 9-12 to learn about racism, bullying, gender oppression, the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships, and building solutions for change.
WHEN: July 24- July 28 | - Port Jervis Recreational Center, 135 Pike Street
Students will receive:
30 Hours of Community Service, $50 Stipend *new this year, A Letter of Recommendation

Do you want a quiet place to eat your lunch? The following rooms are available for students to go to during their lunch period. Period 6-room 131, period 7-A Day-Auditorium, B Day-guidance conference & period 8 room 103.
Any student who will be driving to school needs to come to the AP's office and pick up an application for a parking permit. If you have previously received one you do not need to apply for a new one. Please make sure to display your permit in the bottom of your back window on the driver side. Stop by the Assistant Principal's office and see Mrs. Sauschuck for an application.
